The Nutcracker

We went with the Partner's Club to The Nutcracker! It was a performance like we'd never seen before--totally over-the-top! It was incredible. What would the Christmas Season be like without The Nutcracker! Merry Christmas!

Hollidazzle

We went to Hollidazzle and dined with Corey's section. We had a great time!

Thanksgiving at the Fredrick's

Thank you to Nate, Natalie, and Grace for a great Thanksgiving! It was fun to stay with them, have them show us Cornell, Taughannock Falls and Cayuga Lake, and most of all, spend Thanksgiving with them. They were perfect hosts and we very much enjoyed our time there!

Harvard vs. Yale

Well, we went to the Harvard Football game--intending to cheer for the crimson, but it certainly took some adjusting--especially seeing "Y" paraphernalia in blue & white everywhere! We'd look on the field and naturally go for the blue and white, but had to constantly remind ourselves that Harvard was crimson. :)
After the game we went and had pizza with the Sevy's!!

A Morning at Mt. Auburn

No friends, this isn't a mourning at Mt. Auburn, but a gorgeous morning at Mt. Auburn--the cemetery. Who would have guessed such a beautiful and picturesque place was right in our backyard? Who would have guessed that a cemetary could be so beautiful. Corey and I have rated this place along with the view from the tower in the center of the cemetery, to be one of the top places to visit in Boston. It's true--out of all the places to see, a cemetery. Ask Greg & Wendi--they'll vouch for us. :)Winding through the pathways in Mt. Auburn was like walking through a beautiful place in a movie. Not even exaggerating. When we made it to the center of the cemetery, we climbed the tower totally surprised at the breathtaking panoramic view before us. It was incredible!! You could see everything from Belmont--including the temple--to Charlestown/Downtown Boston and then to Watertown. Like always, pictures never do it justice. Just remember--when you visit Boston, you MUST visit the Mt. Auburn Cemetery--it's free, but the experience is worth so much more than words can say. (There's no morbid implication there :)

A place for everyone

We weren't too worried about feeling at home after we saw this sign! We almost felt like saying, "Hey Crowell, we're a Crowell, too!"

August Madness....

So, we made the move across the great US of A to Boston, MA! We drove our 26' truck toting our car and enjoyed the scenery along the way!

July flies by....

So, July was fun with the fourth and everything! We hadn't been home for a long time to celebrate with crepes and fireworks! Fun times at summer BBQs are always good :) It was great to get away to Jackson--it was a nice breather before the school craze started.

June 2007

This month we had a blast in Moab with the family! Utah sure is hot in the summer, but when the sun sets on the red rock--it feels like you've stepped into a rich painting.

February Fun

It was so fun to spend Corey's 27th Birthday with the Martinez this year! They made us feel at home.
Corey and I went to Portugal with Soraya and Antonio! We went to the furthest point in Occidental (western) Europe!! We thought it was at the southern point of Portugal(pic with the lighthouse), but then found out it was actually closer to Lisbon, called Cabo de la Roca! We also went to Sintra where it rained like crazy and we found ourselves with an umbrella from Mary Poppins. Lisbon is the San Francisco of Portugal with the cable cars and everything!
